We take debit or credit cards and also provide PayPal for an even more secure process. We also accept payment upon pickup or checks in the mail. 

Choose an Option (online payment)

• Pay a deposit of $150 to reserve the puppy until it is old enough to be adopted.
• Purchase your pup (available only if the pup is old enough to be adopted).

When you have chosen an option, click the button to go to the next step. The button will add that puppy to your "Puppy Box." In order to view your pups, go to the Puppy Box page.

Double-check Your Puppy Box

This page will give a list of the total cost without tax. If you are paying a deposit on your pup, the remaining cost will be invoiced to your email later.

Proceed to Check Out

Select either pick up yourself (free) or ship by air ($480) then press "Proceed to Checkout." Enter in your information and review your order. A 7% sales tax will be included on your purchase if you pick your puppy up in Iowa, or are an Iowan resident. Press "Proceed to PayPal."  You can pay with your credit card through the PayPal site if you don’t have a PayPal account. Follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Waiting for Your Puppy's Adoption Date

If you have reserved a puppy by deposit, an invoice will be sent out to you by email (or mail in some cases) for the remaining amount.

If you are having your puppy shipped to you by air, you will be contacted by A Puppy for You via phone or email to make the arrangements and to provide you with more details.

Paying with Check

If you would like to pay by check please make your check payable to "A Puppy For You."

Please only use a check if there is ample time for the bank to clear the check before picking up the puppy.

We will hold puppies that have not had payment cleared for them. Puppies may not leave our property unless the puppy is paid for in full.

We can either ship your puppy to you or you can pick your pup up! 

Picking Up Your Pup

Call us at (712) 439-2954 or (712) 441-1140 to set up a time to pick up your puppy. When you arrive, you will need to pay the remaining balance invoiced to you. Please give us a call if you think you will be late or need to reschedule.

We do not do business on Sundays as that day is set apart for God and rest. We will gladly take your calls on Monday. We will gladly take your calls on Monday.

Puppy Shipping

If you have selected to ship the puppy by air, we will need to know what airport you would like the puppy delivered to and what date would work best for you to pick up the puppy.

You must pay the balance up front if you ship your pup by air.

Do You Have Worries about Shipping Your Pup?

Shipping is a great and safe option for long distance customers. The USDA monitors the transportation of pets to make sure all animals are safe and secure.

We do not transport any puppies in periods of unhealthy heat or cold in the summer or winter. If we feel that temperatures are too extreme for our little pups, we will postpone shipment to a later day. However, postponing is a rare occurrence.
