We have included information below on our most common dog breeds. We sometimes raise dogs that don't fit into one of the above types. If you are having trouble finding the right dog for you and none of the dog breeds or mix breeds below fit you, let us know! We may have an upcoming litter of a different breed, or we may have a unique pup that isn't listed on our website just yet.
Yorkshire Terrier
Yorkies, the most popular toy dog breed in the U.S., is small in size but makes up for it in its larger-than-life personality and make a loving companion! Yorkies suit many types of living, from small apartments to large acreages. Their energy levels make them great pets for someone with a more active lifestyle. Early training and socialization will make sure this wiry dog becomes a fun, yet controllable dog. They make great pets for families with older children or with adults due to their small body size and more sensitive personality.
Shih-Poos
This cross between a Poodle and a Shih Tzu is known to be affectionate, friendly, smart, sweet and fun. Shih-Poos do nor require a lot of exercise, but will be energetic during play-time. They are well suited for a variety of living conditions. Living in a small apartment is not usually a problem for this dog. Shih-Poos are alert, adaptable, and often love the limelight. They do well in dog sport competitions that include obedience and agility. These dogs are best trained with the use of motivational treats.
Morkie
Morkies are a cross between a Yorkshire Terrier and a Maltese. These dogs usually have a lot of personality, and are very dedicated to their family. Morkies make great family dogs and watch dogs. If you are looking for a dog with high energy and confidence, a Morkie is your dog. However, make sure that your Morkie is restrained form getting into trouble with unfamiliar dogs. Morkies can be friendly to a fault! Unfamiliar dogs not not understand your Morkie's enthusiastic greeting. These lap-dogs are eager to please and make great loving companions.
Golden Retriever
We love our Golden Retrievers. Not only are they playful, & friendly but they are tolerant and intelligent as well! These dogs make great family pets. They also can be trained to be great working dogs. The breed was originally created to assist hunters by retrieving game and tracking. They make great assistance and therapy dogs as well. You will find your golden retriever to be playful and silly, but with a firm hand you can train this breed to a huge variety of tricks and tasks.
